Ruger Hawkeye Compact - .223 Rem

The Ruger Hawkeye Compact features a non rotating, Mauser style action that combines perfectly with the fixed blade ejector system to reliably expel spent cartridges when the bolt is pulled all the way back, eliminating jams and making this one of the most dependable bolt action rifles that Ruger make.

The 5 round hinged floor plate magazine is made from high grade alloy steel and features a latch that sits flush to the stock to prevent accidental opening. The three position safety allows the bolt to be locked and the magazine loaded or unloaded whilst the safety in engaged to prevent accidental injury.

The 16.5" barrel is made from high grade stainless steel and has been expertly blued for a deep finish. The barrel features an immaculately rifled internal chamber that provides exceptional accuracy, even when the barrel is hot.

Ruger utilise their patented integral scope mounts on the Hawkeye Compact for added stability and strength and to protect your favourite scope from loosening or getting damaged under recoil.

The stock of Ruger is made from specially selected walnut wood that gives this rifle fantastic aesthetics and great strength. The stock also features a thick rubber recoil pad that softens the impact of recoil and ensures a snug shouldering position.
