Ruger Hawkeye African - .300 Win

The Ruger Hawkeye African utilises Rugers own LC6 trigger system to deliver fantastic out of the box precision with a crisp let off and almost zero trigger "creep", allowing you to land the killing blow whenever the opportunity arises.

The controlled feed extractor system is made to a non rotating, Mauser style action that works elegantly with the fixed blade ejector to expel spent cartridges when the bolt is moved completely rearward. This system is both easy to operate and reliable thanks to its simple design and minimum of moving parts.

The 3 round, hinged floorplate magazine features a latch the fits flush to the stock to avoid accidental access and allows for quick follow up shots without having to reload. The rifle can also be loaded or unloaded with safety engaged to prevent accidental discharge of the firearm.

The extended 23" barrel of the African provides exceptional accuracy thanks to it impeccable internal rifling and cold hammer forged construction. The forging process also makes the rifle exceptionally resilient for a longer service life and easy cleaning. The barrel comes complete with fully adjustable iron sights and a muzzle break to reduce recoil.

Ruger use their patterned integral scope rings to provide added stability and strength and protect your scope from recoil. This integrated system also prevents the scope from coming loose and becoming inaccurate after shooting.

The stock of the African is ergonomically shaped for comfortable shouldering and is made from the finest American walnut that has been specially selected for its strength and color. The stock is finished off with tasteful detailing than not only enhances the look of this already handsome rifle, but also ensures a secure grip in all conditions.
