Ruger Hawkeye Compact - .243 Win

The action of the Ruger Hawkeye Compact is made in a Mauser style, non rotating design and works in unison with the fixed blade extractor that makes ejecting spent cartridges as easy as just pulling bolt all the way back.

The Compact also features a 4 round hinged floor plate magazine that is made from the highest grade alloy steel and can be loaded or unloaded with the bolt locked and the safety engaged. The release for magazine sits flush to the stock to prevent accidental release and the dumping of the cartridges.

The barrel of the Compact measures just 16.5" for maximum manoeuvrability but still delivers the accuracy expected of a Ruger rifle thanks to its immaculate internal rifling and cold hammer forged chamber. This also makes the barrel extremely long lasting thanks to its enhanced dissipation of heat.

The receiver of the Compact is made from high quality alloy steel and features scope mounts that are integrated direct into its surface for enhanced strength and stability.

The stock of Ruger is made from specially selected walnut wood that gives this rifle fantastic aesthetics and great strength. The stock also features a thick rubber recoil pad that softens the impact of recoil and ensures a snug shouldering position.
