Ruger Hawkeye Compact - .308 Win

The Hawkeye Compact is one of Rugers premier hunting rifles and features a non rotating Mauser style action the combines with a fixed blade ejector that reliably extracts spent cartridges by pulling the bolt all the way back.

The magazine of the Compact can hold up to 4 rounds and features a release catch that sits flush to the stock to prevent a knock to the stock unloading your ammunition over the floor. The magazine can be both loaded and unloaded while the three stage safety is engaged for added safety.

The barrel of the compact measures just 16.5" for added manoeuvrability but still provides the same high level of accuracy that is expected for a Ruger rifle thanks to its impeccable internal rifling. The barrel has been cold hammer forged for great heat dissipation and a longer working life.

This rifle comes without any sights attached to the barrel but utilises Ruger's own patented scope mounts that are integral to the receiver for added strength and stability under recoil.

This rifle has an incredibly ergonomically shaped stock that is made from specially selected walnut wood that provides this rifle with great strength and fantastic colouring and patterning. The stock has been chequered along its surface for enhanced grip in all weather conditions.
