Ruger Hawkeye Standard - 7mm-08 Rem

By using a non rotating, Mauser style action the Hawkeye Standard is able to provide reliable ejection of spent shells by pulling the bolt all the way back, eliminating jams and feeding problems.

The hinged floorplate magazine of the Hawkeye can hold up to 4 rounds and can be accessed while the safety in engaged for enhanced security. The release catch sits flush to the to stock to prevent a knock dumping the cartridges over the floor without making the magazine harder to access.

The 22" barrel of the Hawkeye is made from cold hammer forged alloy steel which not only grants the barrel enhanced rigidity for accuracy but also dissipates heat brilliantly quickly for an extended working life.

The scope mounts that the Hawkeye uses sit directly into the receiver for added strength and stability.

The stock of this rifle is made from American walnut that has been specially selected for its strength and colour and has been ergonomically shaped for a snug shouldering position and an aesthetically pleasing shape.

Also includes: rugged one-piece, stainless steel bolt; studs for mounting sling swivels.
