The Ruger SR1911 Competition 4.5mm BB CO₂ Air Pistol is a CO₂ powered replica air pistol designed for recreational target shooting and plinking. Inspired by the well‑known Ruger SR1911 Competition, this model features a striking two‑tone finish and classic 1911 styling, giving it a distinctive appearance while maintaining a solid, full‑metal construction.
Chambered in 4.5 mm (.177) steel BB, the pistol is powered by a 12 g CO₂ cartridge, The magazine holds 19 BBs, and a single CO₂ cartridge typically provides around 50 shots, depending on conditions and shooting pace.
The pistol features a single‑action trigger with a skeletonised competition-style trigger blade, along with a split commander-style hammer. For aiming, the pistol is fitted with a fibre optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight, allowing shooters to fine‑tune their aim for improved accuracy when target shooting.
In keeping with the traditional 1911 design, the pistol includes both a thumb safety lever and a beavertail safety, offering familiar handling features. The full‑metal construction and blowback action provide realistic slide movement during shooting.
