Product Description

Most traditional airguns use a spring-and-piston system to provide the air source. But this rifle features a gas ram system, which offers a lot of benefits, including better consistency and prolonged life.
The stock is made in Italy by Minelli to a very high grade, which ensures that it has a comfortable feel and appearance. There's chequering to the fore-stock and pistol grip, where maximum grip is required, and a rubber butt-pad is installed to the rear of the stock to minimise recoil into the shoulder.
The barrel is made in the BSA factory in Birmingham through a cold hammer forging process which maximises accuracy and consistency. This barrel is then covered by a metal shroud which provides sound suppression as well as a solid base for cocking and loading. This shroud has a ½ inch UNF thread to allow the fitting of an additional moderator.
The BSA Lightning XL GRT SE is a hard-wearing, superbly accurate, value-for-money gas ram air rifle.
